Bernard Oduro, my indispensable translator at my side, we make the customary walk to the Chief's palace. Unexpected honors are bestowed on Village Dreams during the Greeting Ceremony, paying great respect to the generosity of Village Dreams donors. Chief Yeboah raised our chair to the dais next to his throne and placed the Chief's sheepskin at our feet. After this, protocol requires that the Chief and Elders escort and hand us over the Head of School, Osborne.
Francis Frimpong, Village Dreams Project Director, humbly thanked the Chief during the Greeting Ceremony. He then recounted all that Village Dreams had done since our last visit. Then in answer to the Chief's formal question, he listed the items Village Dreams would accomplish on this trip.
